We’ve had some questions about the promotion and thus, put together some of our most frequently asked questions and their answers. Read these below.

Q: Do the products I review need to have been purchased at Sears?
A: No, actually not. We’re hoping to gather our customers’ thoughts about the products we sell in general. The good, the bad, the ugly. Your review will help other customers know if the product might be right for them.
Q: How many reviews do I have to write?
A: Its really up to the community. We’re giving away free shipping for a year to the 25 community members who write the most reviews each week (Mondays start the week tally). Each week, the tally is set back to zero so you stay on an even playing field, even if you are just joining!
Q: What should I review?
A: Whatever you like! Here are some suggestions: your dishwasher, oven, vacuum cleaner, coffee maker, pants, shirts or coat. Or, what about about your tools, scrapbooking materials, that new video game, your gardening tools and hose, your camera, your TV, your patio furniture or grill? The list goes on and so could we, but if you need more inspiration, check out some of the latest reviews from fellow customers.
Q: How long is the promotion running?
A: A total of four weeks with each week starting new (everyone’s count goes to zero). Your reviews will be eligible beginning Monday, June 15th and ending July 12th.
Q: I’ve written a few reviews this week. How do I know if I’m in the running?
A: Follow this blog! We’ll keep you updated on the blog and in the discussion forums with a mid-week tally of our frontrunners.
Q: Are Sears employees eligible to win the contest?
A: No, sorry. Sears employees are not eligible to win the review writing contest.
Q: How many times can I win?
A: One time – but we like your enthusiasm! If you’ve already won, spread the free shipping love by telling your friends and family how they could earn the same reward for writing their own reviews!
